It seems that my Air Ducts are Condensate on the exterior in the attic space enough for water to pool up and eventually drip out of the ceiling panel seams and the light fixture. It is where the duct makes the U shape in the very front. I have taken the fixture down and the vent trim to expose the duct and small area of the roof. The top of the insulation is not wet, which makes me feel better about the roof leaking not contributing to the water issue. The water is mostly on top the duct work and dripping off the bottom. I have taken some pictures that I will attach below. I have dried with a towel as much as I can reach into the small area where the vent trim exposes the area, Placed a small Dehumidifier in the bathroom, and left a bucket on floor for any water that might drip while I am at work. I am not sure if anyone else has experienced this problem with water condensation problems, but we use the vent when showering and also the vent hood when cooking. I am located in Houston, TX so there is higher ambient humidity in the air. Any suggestions or input from same experiences would be appreciated, I would like to not tear out the ceiling to remedy this issue. I have not experienced any water dripping from other areas around ducts, at least of this moment. -Cave Attachments:Ceiling Overview.pdf (214.44 KB)

You said it was on top of the vents, where in relation to that fan? I would be checking around and under the fan, water likes to travel. TX has had some really bad weather, chance it blew under the fan bezel?

Top of the insulation is not wet or damp like parts of the bottom that touch the duct work. I have not got on the roof yet to see if there is an issue due to the weather the last couple days, although it rained most of the morning today and there was no water dripping like yesterday morning. My only guess is the air in the duct work is too cold and causing it to sweat with the hotter attic space air. If I remember correctly I do believe there is an attic vent somewhere in the bathroom area that could be contributing. I suppose the duct work could not be properly sealed from the factory and it is letting cold air out and causing the sweating. Hard to say with such a small area to investigate without tearing out ceiling panels. -Cave

Until you can check that roof it's going to be heard to diagnose, most water in the ceilings a roof issue, never heard of condensation being and issue other than inside windows sweating.

Could the AC drain be stopped up and causing an internal leak?

I have a 3911 Venom and had water coming out of one of my a/c vents in the front bedroom, it was at the rv dealership getting a new ramp door replaced and a few other things fixed when it was discovered. The tech went on the roof and found that the front bolts/screws holding the a/c unit down onto the roof had backed off causing rain water to get under the seal and leak into the ceiling. he cleaned under the seal replaced all bolt/screws and has been good since. Just FYI.

So I have got on the roof and can not find any indication of a leak, or suspect area of cracked caulking / sealant. The drain pain is draining and not full, nor does it look like the seal is leaking into the RV. The area where the water is pooling in the the front bathroom on the outside of the ducts where they make the U and connect to each other, mostly on the Curb side. I can stick my hand somewhat into the attic space and between the AC Unit and the Max air vent the duct has no water on it or around it. This is the same case on the Street Side of the ducting.
I suspect that the tape or whatever seals the ducts is leaking where they are joined at a seam and this is causing cold air into the attic area and causing the exterior of the duct to condensate, causing the water issue. I have taken the grills off the two ducts in the bathroom area to let as much air out before it meets this spot. It seems to have slowed the water pooling on-top but not stopped the issue.
I am trying to get in touch with KZ customer service to see if this issue has been seen before, and also reaching out to some local dealership / repair shops around me. I'm at a loss on what to do to remedy this issue. I have contemplated sealing the duct off right after the register to keep air from reaching the suspected air leak but do not want to start issues where I cannot access without taking the ceiling panel off.
I have taken the lights down is several areas and there is no indication of water in those areas, which furthers my theory on the leaky duct causing a condensation issue, not intrusion from roof or AC unit.
