I have a KZ Sportsmen Classic 181BH trailer and looking for some insight on modifications or adjustments - any help is appreciated:
with the 2 burner stove .. I am looking for a stove cover .. I need the counter space when not in use.
Anyone ever hang a rod to hold curtains to have a bit of privacy in the main large bed?
what is recommended to use to block out light on the curtains and door window?
I have owned it for a year - always trying to improve something after every trip ..
Thanks and take care!

During the winter months, on my old trailer, I use the sun-blockers used for front windshields for cars. They do a great job of blocking the sun. I just tuck them behind the curtains. During the winter, it helps to keep the fading down on curtains and interior fabrics. I buy mine at the Dollar Tree. They are cheap, cut with scissors, and work well. I have never had to replace them.
My new trailer has roll-shades. They work great. Being permanently installed you just raise or lower as needed. Be sure to buy the room darkening type if darkness is the goal.
For the stove cover, try Bontragers RV, in White Pigeon, Michigan. I assume they have a website. They seem to have everything, if it is available.
Good luck!

I use a cutting board as a cover for my stove. Attached some dowels as legs. The legs also keep it from falling off the stove when travelling. When I'm not using in on the stove I move it to the counter to the left of the sink. Works great. Greg

Yes on the tension rod curtain, my 1st 5W had a single slide wit a couch made into a bed. Grandson slept there & we hung a privacy curtain just past the bathroom to close off our sleeping area. wazkaren's cutting boards similar to what we had on a 3 burner in it. Looking at her photo, they also make a sink cover for that sink that would give even more counter when the sinks not in use.

Like the OP we used a cutting board as a cover for our stove in are old 5th wheel, but I attached some thick rubber legs on each corner, as stated the legs also keep it from falling off the stove when traveling I cut up sun-blockers used for front windshields for cars, the DW sewed a small peace of material around the edge an I attached Velcro to it so it could be attached the frame around the door window, cheap an took no time to make an install an kep light out really well... Safe Travels Chuck
