As we planned for a few summer trips, it became obvious that my patience for opening and closing the pop-up was waning. After much searching, we settled on a 2012 Sportsmen Classic 170, that we are going to pick up TODAY!!!!! I am a bit apprehensive about the tow...I own a Dodge Dakota with the 3.9 Magnum V6. On paper it all sounds good. Shows it came out of the factory at 2,590#, which is only 54% of the class III draw weighed. Even fully loaded (additional 910) would put it at 3,700# which is 74% of the draw bar capacity. Took the extra route of having a WD/sway hitch installed, because the 330# tounge weight concerned me. Guess I'll find out on that 1st hill leaving the dealer.... hope those K-source mirrors I put on yesterday work...keep you posted.
Arrived safely at home... about an hour trip 
Truck did a good job, mirrors are so-so. I can see the lanes OK, just wish I could see a bit more down the side of the trailer (the trailer itself, that is),Now it is time to load it up, and prepare for that 1st trip. Can hardly wait.
