I just bought a 2015 KZ Spree and I want to plug a fire stick into the HDMI port on the back of the TV. However, I cannot figure out for the life o0f me how to get to the back of the TV. Its attached to a bracket and I have taken every screw off the cabinet and it wont move. behind the wall is a solid wall separating the bedroom. Anyone know how to get to the back of this TV? See attached pic.

Can you see behind it with a mirror? The one in my bedroom has a U shaped piece on the wall & a small round rubber barrel like piece that snaps in place. Once unsnapped it swings out. It's really really tight so I don't move it much for fear of breaking the TV.

I was able to see behind it with a mirror but it didnt help much. I went out and double checked and there is no piece to remove to get to the TV. Its a solid wall. I cannot figure out for the life of me how they expect you to replace the TV or plug something into the back. The thing just has no access.

Ours is same way. I can see around it but Edd505 is right. It us clamped on tight with that U shaped rubber clamp. I thought I was going to pull it off wall!!

I, too, have the "snap" on the back of my TV and it is very hard to both lock and unlock it. Like the people above, I'm always afraid I'm going to break the TV or pull the mount off the wall. I do have room on my setup that I can reach around pretty far and use my arms to pull the TV away from the wall. Locking it, I just push with one hand top and one bottom, right in the center, with as much of my palms as I can get on the frame, and hope for the best.

I don't know if it is like my 2015 MXT319 toyhauler was, but the tv mounting bracket had a place to pull the metal bar toward you and the tv would snap out of place and you could hold the tv in your hands after you got it unsnapped. Reach over the tv and feel around and see if you have one like that. It was easy to get off but a little more difficult to get it snapped back in place. Hope that works.

My problem is I cannot get my hand behind the TV. The fit is too tight. You will see what I mean in the pic I posted above.

Hi, been following this puzzle. Mine is a 2015 Spree Connect, the tv set up looks the same except mine is not framed into the wall so I can get to the back. If your mount is the same as mine and it probably is there are two levers, one on each side of the mount that extend down about 1 1/2'' below the mount. Both have to be pulled forward together to release the bottom of the tv so you can lift it off the top of the mount. If you get a stiff rod a little longer than the width of the tv and can work it up from the bottom, from both sides, with a helper, until it hits the mount then pull it forward so both levers release you should be able to pull the bottom out and lift it off the mount. Keep the rod as close to the wall as you can, the levers sit forward on the mount about two inches from the wall. They are spring loaded but move easily. Good luck!

I tried and I cannot fit anything back there to get the levers. I see the levers your speaking of because I took a pic but I cant imagine a way to get to them.

Think I might have something for you. I made a prototype and tried it on my tv. I had a 3/16" steel rod about 20" longer than the width of the tv. I bent it in the shape of a huge staple so that the legs would just clear the width of the tv. I worked one of the legs behind the cables at the bottom, then slid it across so that the legs extended out the front. I was able to move it up to the mount and release both levers all from the front and pull the bottom of the tv out enough with a finger to get hold of. I bet this will work for you. Good luck!!

I will try this. Maybe with a wire hanger? I was able to take a few pics of the bracket. Does that bracket pull straight forward on both sides? Is it the type where they both have to be pulled out at the same time or will one at a time work? Once they are pulled out with the wire, do you have to keep them pulled out or do they stay there?

The rod I used was about 50" long. I don't think a coat hanger would be strong enough. You can get one at Lowes, Home depot or most any hardware store. The levers are spring loaded and will go back if you release them, they have to be pulled forward together and held. That will release the bottom of the tv so you can swing it out and lift it off the top of the mount. The mount is in two pieces, the half that screws to the tv has a rod across the top that sits in two cutouts on the half that screws to the wall and acts like a hinge. The bottom has the two levers that are spring loaded latches that latch on to a rod at the bottom of the mount and hold the tv in place. It would help to have someone to pull the tv out at the bottom while the levers are pulled forward and hold it. Once the bottom is free you can lift the tv off the top of the mount.

Man, I think that, once I got the TV out, I'd replace the mount with a swivel/tilt mount and scrap that POS one you have now.

However, because I only have about 2 inches of space below and above, I dont think I will ever get the TV out. That sucks because I cannot insert my firestick which is how I planned on watching TV.

Call KZ? Customer service Phone: 866-472-5460 Option #2 I did call KZ and they were very helpful. They asked me to send them pictures and I am awaiting their reply. I am impressed so far with their service. Forest River would never give you this kind of service.

My problem is I cannot get my hand behind the TV. The fit is too tight. You will see what I mean in the pic I posted above. Sorry, I misread your original problem. That is what mine looked like but I did have barely enough room to get my hand up there to remove it.

That is what mine looked like but I did have barely enough room to get my hand up there to remove it. Ive brought in the smallest hands that I can find to try and get back there and she couldn't do it. KZ didnt help. They basically said I need to find a way but I already know that. It really sucks because I am about to embark on at least an 8 month trip around the country and really need my firestick. Im beginning to regret this purchase over something that appears to be little but it really is a big deal to me. I cant seem to find a way to get to it.
