Hi everyone, I have a permanently placed 2005 KZ Sportsmen 3803. I have searched everywhere for the water filter. Currently I have no water at all. Ive checked the outside connections and all is fine there. Searched high and low for the dang water filter with no luck as I was told it very well could need replacing. I am new to all this, checked the manual, looked all over youtube and forums but cant find anything specific to my model. THANK YOU for your time.

Have you checked all the valves to see if they maybe in bypass for winterizing? The only "filter" I know of will be on the back of the water pump, it's normally clear plastic & unscrews.

As Edd505 stated the filer will be near the water pump which may be behind the storage wall just behind the water panel ... Thus you will have to remove the storage wall to get at such ... Also as stated make sure your water panel switches are set properly for either city water or for dry camping ... One finial note is to make sure you have water in your water heater before turning it on, other wise you may burn up the heating element which cost some bucks Ugh !!!! Safe Travels Chuck

A heating element is about ten bucks, available at any good hardware store.

If you're running on city water, try adding a little water to the FW tank and turn the pump on. If you get water at the faucets and toilet, that will narrow down where the problem is. A clogged city water inlet could be the cause. It has a filter screen (coarse) and a check valve inside which can get clogged with silt & debris and not open properly.
I removed the check valve from our inlet and installed a commercial grade brass one. I also enlarged the opening with a drill to improve flow.
There won't be a filter unless a previous owner installed one. I installed three 10" filter housings/filters under our kitchen sink. Couldn't get water flow after de-winterizing this year. A head-scratcher until I realized I installed one filter cartridge upside down. Doh!
