Since the weather is starting to warm up here in Michigan I am wondering what type of mattress or bedding I should use for the bunks in my E196S. I don't want to go for broke but I would like it to be comfortable for a 200 pound adult if need to sleep there. Any suggestions? For the queen size bed, I kept the factory installed pad, bought a cheap queen trucker bed mattress, and also added a cheap egg crate on top. Laid on it and it didn't feel bad... a little firm, but way better than the factory pad.

We have the same trailer, bought a queen pillow top mattress cover and it is very comfortable. Has far as the bunks, they are just for the two kids and the biggest kid is only 80 lbs. Bunks just wrapped in flat sheets cause fitted sheets do not work, so on that note you could put whatever you want for comfort, but your going to have to buy bigger and cut it due to the length of the bunks. Good Luck! Our first trip is in 4 weeks, to Hersey Park

We just bought the same trailer and began outfitting it this weekend! I found that "bunk" and "cot" size sheets are what will fit. I went to Bed Bath and Beyond online and got some 400 count sheets: www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?SKU=125054&RN=163& . The bunk size were only available online at BBB. The bunk sheets at other stores sound really bad with 200 count on the thread. These feel really nice and fit well. We also picked up a 2 inch queen memory foam mattress topper and just got finished cutting it in half to make two pieces, one for each bunk. We also put a queen 3 inch topper on the queen bed for us and bought some regular queen sheets.
