While under our almost brand new 5th wheel for a different reason, I noticed the underbelly material being forced down pretty far at one location common to where the tank dumping handles are located. Thinking that this looked odd, I proceeded to push up on the low point and I could move what ever was sticking down. It was heavy, but I could move it. It stayed where I pushed it. It feels like the corner of one of the holding tanks. My concern is that a holding tank is not secured properly. This may be connected but this rv has a 53 gallon black tank, and on our second day here at the park, we show that the tank is 66% full and we have barely used it. What are the odds that the sagging underbelly is being caused from a black tank that has tilted to one side which positions the sensors at the wrong attitude, giving the erroneous level reading. I'm about ready to cut the underbelly material to have a look behind it, but don't want to avoid the warranty. Suggestions?

Sensors are infamous for not being accurate. If you cut the underbelly cut a U shaped flap with the connected part to the front. Aluminum tape will close it when done and the flap at the front keeps it closed while driving, ait can not catch the leading edge.

Yeah, I've had issues with sensors on my other rv's through the years also. This one is brand new though, and this is the 1st time that we have used it. It showed 0% full when we got here. My concern is about the item sagging down into the units underbelly. It felt like the corner of a waste tank, and heavy. I could lift up on it and re-position it higher up. Doubt that it will stay there. Just concerned that one of the tanks may not be installed securely. Do you think if I cut the underbelly material to have a look, any warrantee would be jepordized? I did this with my last RV and gorilla taped worked great to sell it back up

You bought a trailer, not a warranty. Tanks can be a problem and if it falls while driving, bad things will happen. There may be a seam in the bottom cover so that you can take down a portion and avoid cutting, making a small access hole won't allow a repair anyway. Mark the cover and frame before removing screws to make it easier to reinstall.

If you're under warranty, call KZ and see if they will approve a mobile RV repair to come look at it. Without eyes-on, my first thought would be a broken, or poorly welded (NO! Bad weld?!) tank bracket that's allowing one side of the tank to drop. Big concern, assuming it's the black tank, is if it will cause the drain pipe to break off. Second big concern would be leaking between the toilet and the tank; again assuming it's the black tank. Another thing you could do is to hit up a Harbor Freight if there's one nearby, and pick up and inspection camera. Pull a few screws from the edge of the belly cover nearest the sag and shove the camera in there to see what you can see. They're usually < $100 and are handy for all kinds of stuff. Lyle

You have a Durango Gold I was told they will authorize mobile service, Golds are made for full time living. As laknox said call and document, ask for mobile repair to check.
