I'm looking to replace the standard Lippert pin box on my Durango 2500 that it came with from the factory. What's everyone's opinion about either a Lippert Rotoflex or a Flexair pinbox? I have the corresponding numbers related to the current pin box and I'm definately switching it out. Is it really worth an extra $700 for a Flexair as opposed to a Rotoflex? I'm just looking to reduce the chucking and provide a smoother ride for the fifth wheel.

I have the Rotoflex and love it paired with the B&W Companion. Smoothest tow of 3 5W's and thousands of miles, I am about 3/4 time out 9 months last year.

I am running the lippert Trailair Rotoflex pin box with a Demco Hijacker 21k hitch. Very smooth no chucking clunking or funky noises.

I just bought a new venom with a flex air pin box. Until I got the right amount of air in it. It was challenging to figure out the air balance in it but once I did its really nice. I've only hauled it once but was a 500 mile trip. Much less camper slamming the back of the truck on a bridge abutment and much less chucking than my old standard pin box.

we have had the MorRyde 18k pin-box from the start, I had them put such on before we pulled the trailer off the lot replacing the lippert Trailair Rotoflex pin box.. I am very happy with such an if we ever bought another 5th wheel I'd have the MorRyde pin-box put on it ... We also switched from a Curt 16K hitch to a 18k B&W Companion 5th wheel hitch, the combination of the two provides a very smooth ride an took out any chucking what-so-ever ... We also added the MorRyde SRE 4000 Suspension, MorRyde X-factor cross members Safe travels Chuck

I wanted to follow up with the new FlexAir pin box I installed on my 2017 Durango 2500 D336RET. I’m halfway through a lengthy trip and can tell you all that it’s worth every penny I spent on it. I’ve traveled from Connecticut to the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee and I’m now in Petoskey Michigan. From here I’m headed back to Indiana to the factory for a tour and a stay at Shipshewana Park South next week. The pin box has made the 2600 miles traveled so far a pleasure. It’s expensive but SMOOTH.
