Got our 2017 Durango out of storage and wanted to sanitize water lines. Placed a short hose in a bucket and tried to use the pump but nothing. Am I missing a step some where. The panel is set to the diagram for sanitizing.

My 2013 has a ball valve on the inlet side of the water pump. Does yours?
Do you hear the pump running? Sometimes there's a vacuum and you need to open a faucet to release that and start the water flowing.

Check the valves here that they are set correct. If the valves are correct, there is a filter on the pump, pull it and make sure it's clean.

The sanitize setting will pump to the tank, if you want to sanitize the lines to the faucets and such, use the winterize setting. One factor in using the winterize setting is it bypasses the water heater, which should have been drained during winterizing, so not a lot of need to sanitize the water heater. Once you get the sanitizing solution in the lines, then you can go to the sanitize setting to put some of the solution in your freshwater tank...but getting the tank rinsed out will take some doing.

On one end of the pump there should be a filter. They aren't that strong and easily break from vibration, too much pressure, especially if not installed correctly. If the tubing to and from the pump is rigid then that is wrong. Should be flexible. The strainer has 2 half's. They join together similar to a sewer hose. Its not unusual for the "ears" on the filter to break. In my cases, I was not winterized and I could tell there was a problem with my MoHo's flooded basement. The pump would just keep running has it had no pressure. In your case I would suspect you have no water going through the pump and perhaps that's the problem. Just something to check, it's very easy to miss as those filters are clear plastic. You have to actually separate the 2 half's. The other suggestions are great ways to check. Just follow the tubing you'll find it.
