We have a vent fan with remote that has quit working. It just beeps and does nothing. Any thoughts?

Mine has done that before, you need to try to point the remote at different angles etc....
Also I have 2 fans and 2 remotes sometimes I use the other remote and it works...
Just a sensor thing I believe.

Well remote makes it beep so I guess battery is ok. I will try another remote I have 3 of these fans. Also try changing batteries. Ty

Sometimes a remote will beep to tell you that the battery is low. Just sayin'

It has to be problem with fan. Tried that remote on other fans and it works just fine. Also beep comes from fan not remote.

I had one fan stop working, removed the 20amp fuse and put it back in and the fan started working again. Must have needed a re-boot
