Has anyone installed one of these under their RV?

My only real concern would be how weather tight they were. I could see them filling up with water on a long, wet drive, or dust out here in the West, even on freeways.
One of the absolutely =stupidest= things I've seen in a long time, is on my dad's '16 Town & Country van. It's got the stow-away seats all around, so they decided to put the spare right between the front seats, with a crank in the floor, just behind the console. We were going on a road trip in Jan. and wanted to check all the tires, including the spare. Of COURSE, the spare's stored with the stem =up=, meaning you have to lower it to check. When we did, the rim was filled with about a gallon of water. Solid rim, with no holes in it anywhere. How long do you think that thing would be safe in say, upstate NY or MN or MI or anywhere else they salt the roads? That thing will likely rot out in 3-4 years, max, IMO.

I wouldn't store anything critical, thinking sewer hose, hose support, etc.

Probably be good for leveling blocks and other items that aren't weather sensitive.

I have one friend that installed a set on his toy hauler fifth wheel. He likes them.
I have another friend that installed a set on his pull behind toy hauler. He took them back off because He drug them comming out of driveways. He had to mount them further back so he could clear and have access to plumbing, fuel station pump & spare tire.

I think I've got room just behind the tires on my bumper-pull TH. I don't have to worry about plumbing or anything back there.

Mine does not have the provision for a spare tire as the drawers are wider. I installed one on my 311TH10 toy hauler up front under the baggage compartment. I had this on another toy hauler before I traded it. It's not water tight and has drain holes in the bottom to let water out but it's perfect for sewer hoses, patio mat, wheel chocks, etc. Depending on your RV you will likely need to modify the brackets on it. The first toy hauler I had this on it fit and looked better but on my current one I had to drop it down a little to clear a pipe. It doesn't hang any lower than the sewer outlet though. I also welded tabs on each side so I can throw padlocks on it if I need to. Look under your RV to see where it will fit the best. I really like it for what I use it for but they are kind of expensive for what they are. I'm not sure if I will leave it on my current RV because of how it looks.

I appreciate all the input. They are expensive for what they are, but I think it'll be a good long-term purchase.
If I mount it in front of the axles it would have to be spaced down to clear the LP pipe running down the center of the chassis. It should mount behind the wheels without any clearance issue. Keeping it close to the rear axle will help prevent it from dragging on uneven ground.
My 280THR has limited storage, and dirty/wet storage such as this will be a plus. Won't have to throw dirty and wet items in the clean and dry storage at the front.

Do you worry about that hitting the ground at all?

Do you worry about that hitting the ground at all? Not really. The sewer outlet is right behind it and sits just as low as the drawers. I worry more about how much air I'm dragging underneath the RV now.

Gander Outdoors are opening here in the Midwest and they carry Lippert products like the storage bins I'm looking at buying. I'm going to get the 96" model without the spare hoist and weld it to the chassis just behind the axles. Will be great storage for sewer hoses and other items not affected by the elements.
