Well the good news is that someone cancelled and we were at the top of the list for a spot at the rally. Sorry the other camper had to pull out. I will be leaving Billings and traveling that way a few days before the rally. We have been looking at the map and trying to decide which route would be the best for that area. I have to admit that I have never ventured out of Montana to the East that far, and not pulling a trailer. It will be a first for a trip of that length. All is good.

Welcome. we live in Missoula and will be attending the rally too. We are planning to visit family in Minnesota before the rally.

Welcome to the site and have a good time at the rally. Last year was our first trip East while towing, no problem. The traffic around Chicago can get a bit hairy, so I would recommend avoiding it.

We are headed that way as well, we will be stopping at a couple of camp grounds in Montana on our way to the rally an then Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois an then of course Indiana at the rally

Welcome. we live in Missoula and will be attending the rally too. We are planning to visit family in Minnesota before the rally. mtcowgirl your more than likely will be ahead of us, we are making plans now to stop at 7th Ranch camp grounds next to
the Little Big Horn, nice clean place, friendly people, free ice cream at check-in (yaaaaaaa) an above all no to little noise except trains that are a ways away ...
Were looking at either the beginning of the 3rd week or middle there of thus possible taking 3 weeks or 2 an 1/2 to get back to the rally ... Shoot it takes us almost a week to get to Billings LOL, I'm old an slow an best of all were retired so we don't have to hurry... Can I you bet, if needed I could be there in 3 days or less but you would hear the DW screaming all the way across ...
