We have a 2008 26" spree with 2 slides. the front one is no problem. The bedroom slide has always been slow or needs a push (either way) to get it moving. I have had the motor replaced but the problem still remains. The RV must be connected to shore power or the towing vehicle for the rear slide to operate (the battery has been replaced). The slide is not overloaded, problem occurs even when totaly empty.
Any thoughts as to the problem or what can be done to remedy this?

I'm no expert on this stuff and I've never encountered the issue myself but given the troubleshooting you've done, have you considered a friction issue? Maybe take a look underneath while someone else operates the slide and monitor the mechanism or see if any other parts/areas are rubbing. You may not hear a friction issue but there are normally visual signs such as scoring. Check the front slide also and compare the rollers underneath to see if there is any extra wear marks on the rear that inconsistent with the front.
Just an idea / something to try.
