Just wondering if anyone else has had a problem with their "Sansui" 32" tv.
Our bedroom TV lost all sound output. It only has maybe 1-2 hours of use.
Checked all the settings and it is definitely an internal issue.
I called Sansui and was advised it would be cheaper to just buy another one.
As much as I would like to keep the appliances the same, I'm just not sure I want to buy another "Sansui".
Thanks

kaboom
If your trailer is under warranty it should be covered either by the MFG of the TV or Kz, call your dealer an start with them ... If not under warranty then as the MFG stated cheaper to buy another TV than have it fixed ... In today's market electrics are throw sways not reparable's, they want you to replace not not repair, you need a magnifying glass to work on the circuit boards now days ...

Thanks Chuck, it is out of warranty. Still has a great picture just no sound.
I've been thinking about a larger computer monitor for our Shop Dyno Room so this may work out after all.
Just not sure about buying another Sansui tv. Maybe it's just a fluke.

I have a couple Sansui's and no problems. I don't think brand will make a difference when replacing, how many people will be in the bedroom to see it doesn't match the one in the living room? Walmart's got 32"ers under $150

Just not sure about buying another Sansui tv. Maybe it's just a fluke. You might see if there is a audio output which I believe there will be on the back, it more than likely will be a RCA type of plug, plug a speaker in an see if you have sound, thus you have a cheap way of hearing the sound

My Sansui was fastened in place with one wood screw thru the plastic base and down into the 1/8" paneling it was setting on. A cheap bungee went across the top. Who would have thought that it would be found on the floor. Thanks KZ! The cable pulled out of the tuner, so I needed just the tuner to fix it. Like a dummy, I bought a parts TV on eBay that had the exact same model number, but the guts were entirely different. Turns out that Sansui is a low end manufacturer that buys up assorted parts and sells the TVs to an unsuspecting public. Don't waste a lot of money or time, I learned the hard way.

Thanks for the comments. Just got back with a new TV.
Life's to short to worry about little things, like all the tv' matching.
Went to Wallmart and Costco looked at the different brands and bought the one the wife liked the best.

And, since this output is before the amp for the speaker, it may still have audio at the jack and not at the speaker. Best to just replace the TV.
