What I found interesting about this pic is the KZ manufacturing plant in the background.

Pretty common to see this in NE Ohio, especially around Pymatuning reservoir.

All right, but is an outboard motor OK? You guys know on any other site we would have 5 pages of arguing as to whether he is pulling doubles or not.

LOL nvguy I was as well wondering about the outboard motor, maybe he has a fishing buddy that meets him someplace an runs the outboard motor If you look close I believe there is an electric trolling motor on the front of the boat so he's safe there But the elders may be wondering about him LOL ... An as far doubles lets see the horse is the motor, you have the cart an then the trailer, my way of thinking he got a vehicle an trailer, but what do I know LOL ... Let the games begin
Safe travels

My knowledge of Amish culture allows members to us gas powered items. Many use generators or gas engines to power their saw mills and woodworking businesses and even gas powered wringer-washing machines...they bought my mom's old wringer washer to convert. I am sure the boat being gas powered falls under the same rules.....if there is an electric trolling motor probably a kind, non-Amish neighbor allows them to charge the battery at their home. Their culture doesn't allow them to be linked by a line...electric, telephone, or water lines to their property from the "outside world" in our area but they are allowed to use the luxuries at other locations. Also, when employed they can use all the power equipment to do the job. We do see them using cell phones for personal business here too.....a non-Amish neighbor or business they work for allows them to charge off their electric.
We often see them heading for the lake with a trailer such as this or the boat strapped on top of the buggy. They are a very interesting culture.
They are a very interesting culture once you get to know more about them.

In town they have a Amish culture museum of sort, during the Kz rally it is one of the place's that attendee can go as a group tour, it's very informative an interesting to say the least ... If you attend the rally or even if you don't it's as far as I am concurred a must see along with many other things in town ... Safe Travels Chuck

It's all a bit murky. Technically, the horse is pulling doubles, but there is only 1 tow vehicle behind the driver. Would the horse get the citation?
