Wow mkpaint
You have sort of ask a loaded question LOL
I as others here stated that you get the best bag for your buck with Durango Golds as the others like mobile suites cost
you far more an some but not all respects have some of the same problems that owners list here ... Look on line or go to a Rv show an look at what the high end 5th wheels have an match it to what you have, you will soon find out that in most but all case's your trailer has the same things as the high end trailers your looking at ... They will have the same sinks, stove, frig, chairs, tables, plumbing hardware etc, they will have the same R rating
for insulation in most case's, same flooring except when they have hardwood, they may have sliding trays in the storage area as well, but you as a owner can add such far cheaper ...
Do the higher end 5th wheels have real wood, some but not all, do some have better bedding, possibly, do they have a
better suspension, some have independent suspensions like the MorRyde IS suspensions an fancy paint jobs ... As well
they may have more as I call it Bing inside trying to match the high end motor homes ...
Looking at some of the high end 5th wheels I see the same things that the Durango Golds have, looking the other day on another form a owner of a high end trailer was posting pictures of his new high end 5th wheel, I swore I was looking at our Kz trailer till I read what brand it was ... Yes all the cabinet's doors had glass in them were ours don't, but boy that other brand trailer sure looked like our G384RLT inside other than the cabinet's ...
But I have to say that our G384RLT may not have as much Bing but the functionality I feel is just as good if not better than
high end 5th wheel at a far leas cost ... This year we have added a few things that the high end 5th wheels have an still been way, way under the cost of one of those high end 5th wheels an have just as good a trailer as one of those ...
Just my two cents worth

mkpaint, it all depends on who you are talking to at any particular moment. Peop!e will full-time in almost anything. IMO they main difference between a Mobile Suite and a Durango Gold is the amount of money spent. The materials used in assembly are all purchased from other vendors most use the same stuff and it is in the craftsmanship of assembly where you will find the difference. ALL will have problems no matter how hard they try to make a perfect RV. The Durango Gold is the flagship of the KZ product line and you will find non better at their price point. Don't let glitz and brand name appliances or components confuse or muddy the waters, if it is assembled correctly with a reasonable amount of pride in craftsmanship brand DG will give you just as much satisfaction and frustration as brand MS. If you are looking for flash and glitz and all the big name components you have come to the wrong place.

The coverall Durango owners manual may say one thing but the Gold Line is covered under full time living, please remember that they do not print individual owners manual for each model, thus it may say one thing when there is other things that may pertain to a pacific model or line in this case the Gold Line of Kz full-time luxury 5th wheels ...
This may be one case were Kz needs to print a different owners manual an leave some of the wording of the general type coverall manuals ....
Per the the Kz Web Page

I am wondering about best rv for full time long term. I have a 2019 dg and so far like it. Just wondering if there is advantage to like mobile suites or other high end units. If you do a side by side comparison of rigs like your DG and others that =are= rated for full-time use, you'll typically find more amenities and bling but, IMO, the real tell is in the construction. FT rigs will likely have a heavier frame and thicker walls, ceilings and floors for better insulation. At the same time, there are some FT rigs that don't seem to hold up, or have more problems, than ones that aren't "rated" for FT use, but can be used as such. That being said, who's to say what's "full time" and what's not; where is that dividing line? If you maintain a S&B home, yet travel 10 months a year in your RV, are you "full time", or not? If you're gone from home for 2 months, come home for 2 weeks, then gone again for 3-4 months, then home, are you "full time"? Later: I stand corrected on the DG; wasn't aware it was FT rated. Lyle
