First of all Welcome to the Kz Form Here are a few links to other post's on the form about Kz Trailers
kzfamilyforum.com/thread/1681/buy-kz-trailerEven if it's a used trailer an you have not yet bought such yet, I believe the PDI list is a must when looking to
buy such ...
When ask about should you go bigger, it also all in what you want, the layout of the trailer is important, sit in the
trailer for a bit, see how it feels, go thought the motions of cooking in it, look at were you would store bedding, dishes,
silverware, can goods, camping chairs, tools, cloth's etc ... Stand in the shower, is it big enough, look where you would
put extra bedding, towels, wash cloths, toilet paper etc ...
One of the sayings that has been passed around for years is that you will buy three trailers before you find the one
that you will keep an love for a number of years ... We have moved from a truck campers to Class C to a 33ft 5th
wheel now to our present 40ft 5th wheel which we love an will be our last, or we think so LOL .... No saying you
should look at bigger trailers, just get the feel of the trailer you looking at, Kz make a number of great (We believe)
5th wheel big an small, ours now has held together very well for now well over close to 20k now an other have put
way more on theirs than we have an are still happy ...
Kz stands behind the product as a number of us have experienced in the past few years, bending over backwards
to make sure their product is up to a above market standard ... Will you have some problems, maybe, one has to
remember that these trailers are rolling earthquakes rolling down the road at 60mph an sometime more, thus things
come loose, brake etc ...
Lastly anything will last if you take care of it, it's important that you check the spring bushings an make sure they are
ok an not wore out if this trailer had any type of miles on it ... Also check to make sure the bearings have been checked
an the maintenance has been kept up if this is a used unit an even if new I would ask for the wheel bearing to be re-
greased an spring an shackle bushings to be checked ... Some of us have went from the LCI suspensions to the MorRyde
Suspensions with a wet bolt kit as an upgrade, we do such because we do put allot of miles on our trailers... This dozen't
mean that the Kz trailer your looking at has a bad Lippert (LCI) suspension under it, it's that we wanted more so to speak
an wanted the ability to grease the suspensions
Safe Travels an we look forward to hearing from you an possibly joining the Kz family, we here on the form feel
you won't regret buying a Kz product
