My family & I are coming to the US from Australia to purchase a Travel trailer & vehicle to travel for 6 months all over your great country & after 12 months of research think we may have finally found the lay out we are after, the 240BHS. KZ seem to have a good reputation as well. We have 3 kids & didn't want anything too big. We have just been to our travel trailer & camping show here in Oz & all our family vans now have washing machines built in. Something I haven't seen in any models throughout our research of any RV manufactures in the US. Which seems od as you have always been much more advanced than us in everything else it seems. So my question is, has anyone ever installed a washing machine in there RV? Thanks in advance & we are so looking forward our trip.

Most KZ's offer washer/dryer hookup as an option.

Most KZ's offer washer/dryer hookup as an option. Not in a travel trailer. OP, many campgrounds will have a laundry. There are very small portable washing machines available, but they would be almost useless for a family.

I did contact KZ & asked the question but no one replied. I can only comment on the washing machines I saw in our TT's which looked plenty large enough for a family. Camp grounds here have laundry's also but we didn't want to be relying on RV parks as our only source of camping. We wanted to have options & a set up for State & national park camping & free camping for example & didn't want to be reliant on laundromats. Would you say this is a viable option?

I'm not an expert, but it seems doable if the space can be found. There are small apartment size stackable washer/dryer units available that could be made to work. Full size dryers usually require 240v, I'm not sure about these small units so you would need to check on that. If it were me I would also add a small on-demand water heater. Good luck

We have a Splendide washer dryer combo unit. Wife loves it, so that's really all I know about it. It is very quiet, I never hear it, but I notice the spin cycle now and then .... just a little shaking but very minor.
