Hello KZ owners. My name is Todd I live in Daytona Beach and order a new 2013 Durango 296RL the first of March. And cant wait for delivery in April have been looking at KZ for a long time and finally ordered and upgraded from a Keystone to the KZ this is my 4 Th fifth wheel second new one and can't wait to see this new model Todd

Congratulations! I hope you enjoy you new Durango as much as I have enjoyed my Sportsmen 3252 triple slide which I have owned since April of 2000. I have not had any problems to speak of and have yet to see a floor plan I like better. We pull ours to Florida almost every year for a month or two.. Good luck & happy camping...

I found out today my KZ will be built on april 23 and that means it should be in fl in early may can not wait but I will hope its a fast month

Dear KZ owners or prospective owners. DO NOT BUY ANY KZ. I am a current owner of a 2012 Stoneridge 36RK. Today we just got our 5th wheel back after being in the shop since Jan. 4, 2013. Today is March 29, 2013. Our list of items that didn't work or were broken or damaged, not including cosmetic items were 45 in number. Yep that's right 45 items. Wiring, electrical, AC, fireplace, plumbing, shower door, shower pan, window frames bent, finishes in bathroom substandard. Electric jacks, propane bypass, water heater element burnt out due to too small electrical service, paint on the outside of coach chipping. Fan in microwave hitting metal against metal. Our keyless entry was never hooked up properly, our fuse box burnt out, the floor in the large "basement"/cargo area was never properly secured, off door cargo door delaminated. Awnings not properly secured to coach. Our list continues. We are full timers, currently living in Abliene, Texas with our coach. We spent 4 years trying to find the perfect camper for our needs. We did the research, checked all the right sources and thought KZ was the perfect manufacture. Not the case. We've been dealing with Sherita Carpenter, customer service rep for KZ, McClain's RV Superstore in Ft. Worth, TX (authorized repair shop) and Apache Camper Center in Bellevue, Nebraska. (camper dealer) Sam Woolridge of McClain's is the Service Manager, couldn't care less weather or not our camper at their shop passed quality control after it "fixed". David Sotham owner of Apache Camper Center was concerned, but didn't express it to us. However this company knew all the problems existed before we purchased our camper. And put our lives in danger, knowing there was a major propane issue. Sherita Carpenter of KZ-Inc. was helpful after we stated that we might consider a lawsuit due to the poor quality and "Lemon" laws in 4 states. Iowa, Nebraska, Texas and Indiana. Do the research. Check message boards and for goodness sakes, make sure everything I mean everything is working before you accept delivery. Make them hook it up to power and water before you sign on the dotted line. It's your life your taking into your own hands while your on the road.

Do not get discouraged Seaplain. We are on our second KZ fifth wheel and have not had a warrenty issue yet. If you check the threads for the different models you will find that most new owners are very pleased with their 5er's.

I can't be discouraged I have had several rvs and I know what to expect but in saying that KZ is a great company and I thank thay build the best and stand behind their coach witch means alot to me. Their is always some shake down with a new RV. I tend to look at the big picture.

I must echo shortlance. We've had our 2012 Stone Ridge 38fl for a little over a year with over 90 nights camped in it and pulled over 5k miles with ZERO warranty problems to report. I certainly don't doubt your complaints, but I think that a KZ unit with that amount and type of complaints is extremely unusual. However, I do believe that KZ will make it right. Please keep us updated on your progress getting your complaints resolved.
