I went to the KZ site to admire the specs of the 2500 D318RLT and it isn't there. It was right between the 315 and 325, but isn't listed. It is the Durango model on my short list as I want to stay around 35'. I see them in RVT and RV-Trader. I thought it was the most popular of the 2500 line.

Thanks for the video link. I've seen that the D318RLT is available, but am still concerned that it doesn't show up on the KZ site anymore. They used to have it flagged as "Popular Model." The only thing I don't care for is the outside kitchen as I would rather have that space available inside. I consider the 2500 line as a better value and build then, say Grand Design.

While we don't use the outside kitchen as a full kitchen, the extra refrigerator and cabinets do offer extra storage, so it's not wasted apace by any means. We felt the same way, the Durango line offers a very good value & for us, the 318 floor plan works well.

Try calling here and see if she can direct you to someone that knows. I forgot the production managers name but Taylor should be able to direct you to someone can answer your questions.

Shows up on their web site www.kz-rv.com/2018-products/durango-2500-fifth-wheels/2018-D318RLT.htmlbut not on their Specs sheet ... This may be an indication that they are going to drop that model for something else, one never knows, it may have been popular for a few years an sales have dropped off in the past year with their newer models coming out ... It's always interesting to see the changes in models in just a year, such as the 384's, outside looks about the same but the interiors have changed with different colors an fixtures an lighting ... Be interesting to see what they bring out next year in models an changes when we are back there again at the 2019 Kz rally
Maybe we can convince them to change to a SRE3000 an SRE4000 MorRyde Suspensions with wet bolts in the 2500
Durango's an Durango Gold series (Really Big Grin) or least offer them as an option in the heavier trailers Safe Travels Chuck

Good input, Chuck. The springs on my current fiver wore out and we had to take it to a spring shop to get them replaced. The service manager didn't care for wet bolts because he said that most forget to grease them (guilty) and then they wear out faster than the nylon bushings. His take was that they are a maintenance item and should be replaced every 3 years. He did praise the MorRyde CRE3000 replacements that I brought him to install when I found they only carried standard equalizers. I do agree that HD suspensions should at least be an option and HD shackles are a no brainer. KZ may not be guilty, but most RV makers use the bare minimum like the 4400 lb springs and axles on my 2012 Cougar.

skismuggs I am sort of a grease nut, with farm tractors an equipment I tend to keep on top of things an like grease zerts in everything even my lawn mowers ... But as you stated there are people who think things should take care of themselves an even after putting in things that would help with preventive maintenance neglect such Ugh !!! I am also the type of guy that grease's his wheel bearing every year on our trailers even thought they don't need such all the time
It's like the person who buys a car an never changes the oil, then they blame the car MFG for having a POS
when in fact they are the blame Safe Travels Chuck
