The wife can't reach the crank knob. I like to have it open when taking a shower to get the moisture out of the room. Anyone solved this challenge? Thanks!!

A Fantastic fan or Maxxair fan may be what you are after. Both will fit the standard vent hole and both come with a remote control option.
