So, drained both tanks, having it winterized next wed., should black water tank have a sanitizing pod dropped in after winterized and flushed with antifreeze? Damn, dropping below 30 degrees this wed, thurs, and Friday for lows, gonna have to turn furnace on low I guess.....................

I wouldn't worry about the sani pod. Cold weather will solve that problem. I do dump some anti freeze in there just in case.. Anti freeze is cheap insurance.

Just finished winterizing my KZ Connect. There was more to it then most of the instructional videos on u tube. There are two bleeder lines under my trailer to open. There is the city water intake. Also haven't figured out what is needed for the line from the fresh water tank to the pump.

The only antifreeze I put in the black tank is whatever runs out when I'm purging the toilet line. I've never done anything else except make sure it's drained real well after the last trip.

I have been winterizing my camper for years by unhooking the water pump and pumping antifreeze though the lines. I seen a video of people putting it in the fresh water tank.Has any one tried this and is it a good or bad idea. I never drink from are fresh water.

I flush all lines with compressed air and add anti-freeze to all drains so the water in the s-traps don't freeze. Also run the pump for 20 seconds or so and pull the water tank plug once the air pressure drops.
