Yes. Look on the panel by the stairs and it is the switch labeled DS Flood. That is a really stupid place to put the porch light, but anyway that's where it is.

I agree with rvdude, don't know what engineer thought this one up, as well to me I find that the porch light is almost useless unless you have your awning tilted so the light reflects down off the bottom of the awning... Your neighbors will love you if you leave the porch light on because it's bright but shines almost straight out an into the side of their trailer an windows, so be careful when you have it on Safe Travels Chuck

Agreed the switch is in a crazy place, and the name...DS Flood??? Fortunately mine points down and out but is super super bright. Chuck maybe yours is on upside down, or they have modified it since you got your rig? I also have an amber light that comes on with the porch light that illuminates the steps. It is nice too, but would be better if they were on separate switches as not to wake up the park when the pups decide they need to go out at 2 am!
Have also noticed when both awnings are out and those lights are on all together you could light a stadium! OK maybe not that bright but have no issues reading things at night while sitting outside.

Bobcat My points somewhat down an is not flipped an looking at jetzens a few months newer an rcdude's which is almost a year new they seem to be the same I do not have the Amber light in the steps, wish i did an I don't believe the 384's came with such or at least mine didn't an I have every feature offered in that model during that time frame (Dec. 2017) Will agree that with the awning lights an porch light on it pretty bright an nice at night when we take the dogs for a walk before going to bed, never have a worry about fining the trailer it's most always the brightest trailer in the park LOL Safe Travels Chuck

Thanks Chuck! I have a 382MBQ so maybe they put a different light package on them? I take mine out before bed but every once in a while they have to go out for what ever reason. And agreed there is no way of not finding your way home when you leave all the lights on, including the front cap lights that make for a great parking marker. I'm sure some fellow campers have light envy and other hate we light everything up and they can't see the stars!
Safe travels where ever....

"DS Flood" is supposed to mean door side flood light. Anyway, it was a stupid design as to the location. My porch light (as I call it) does point downward. I've never paid attention to the direction the light shines when it is on. My issue with both the porch light and the awning lights is that they really seem to attract a lot of bugs. I've never had that problem before. When you open the door, tons of bugs get into the house and they are everywhere. I use the porch light and the awning lights very sparingly for that reason.

Agreed RVDude, I have experienced the same. I didn’t realize the amount of six legged critters it attracted until I put the awnings out the next day and seen all the “casualties “ of rolling the, up the night before. Eeeew, then spent about an hour washing them off! So like you all lights are used sparingly, here in Texas. Bobcat

But I'd trade for the bugs, rattle snakes for sunshine an warm weather any day of the week Ugh !!! 55 degrees today an rain today, forecast over the weekend is about the same ... Safe Travels Chuck

I'm all for the 9 months of summer here....then we have the season of bald where one day all the leaves on the trees are gone then about a week of winter, then rain, then 2 days of chamber of commerce weather, then back to summer. ROFL. But unforunately the bugs stay. Guess someone has to buy all the bug repellent made! Enjoy the great NW Bobcat

Well the rain starts about now an last till around the 1st part of July sometimes till the middle of July, it's not a hard rain, well sometimes but it's gray most all the time, sun goes away at least in Western Washington, eastern Washington it's a different story ... In eastern Washington the Sun shines, get cold an snows every so often, summer comes early in the end of May an last till at least this time of year, today in eastern Washington there is no rain an it's suppose to be in the high 60'es ugh
Safe travels

Back to the DS Flood light, I did talk about changing the switch at the rally an I heard someone else say the same thing ... I got the look from one of the 5th wheel managers as to say "what are you talking about", so I showed him, he sort of agreed with me Safe Travels Chuck
