Lately I thought my Progressive Surge protector went out. Next thought 50 amp cord stopped working. So I burrowed one of each from my buddy.
If I hook cord direct to my power feeder at home -- Camper has power-- The electric feed is a dedicated line just for my camper plug.
If I attach Surge protector to power feeder and cord -- Camper has NO power --
Both of the Surge protectors are Progressive models 50 amp.
I'm stumped ....

Are you getting proper voltage at your post? Most surge protectors have a safety built in the will shut off the power if the voltage isn't high enough. This is to prevent damage to the RV systems.

When protector is plugged and breaker turned on. I'm getting 123v on leg 1 and 124v on leg 2 with 0 error faults.

I would check your shut off switch to the camper if you haven't already which I'm sure you have ... You never know it may either not turned on all the way or have become bad for some reason ... I was reading in another thread were an owner thought his switch was on but had no power, come to find out the switch wasn't all the way on ... Also you might turn your switch off an on a couple of time to sort of clean the contacts so to speak an to make sure that the your switch is on all the way ... Only a guess here Good Luck Chuck

Can you try the surge protector on another camper? If the second campers OK you have a dead surge protector. With the voltage reading I think you have the same one I have. It has a limited life time warranty??? (Not sure if that's my life time or it's) Tech number 800-780-4324 x20311
