Modes an Upgrades to our Durango Gold G384RLT

On the reinforcement of the storage area I put "L" brackets on the floor an also on the top cross members do to the fact I
have hangers that I hang things on such as extra length of water hose, extra fire extinguisher, cable TV cable, chock block
wrench etc... I also have a large box that I store my sewer hose in that is attached so it will not move an some small plastic
parts bins as well an now a 4 draw tool box attached so it will not move even thought it is heavy along with my cordless drills ...
Lastly I have an "I" bolt screwed into the wall an two "I" bolts screwed into the floor which hold our lawn chairs tightly in so
while traveling they do not flop all over the place ...

We also had the Equa-Flex Suspension Dexter axles from LCI as well, but went to the MorRyde SRE4000 suspension system

which Provides 4" inches of suspension travel, 2 more inches of travel than the LCI Equa-Flex Suspension an MorRyde has a

3 year warranty 1 more year than the other as far as warranty...

Since our trailer is now pushing the second year an the end of the Kz & LCI Warranty I now have three more years on our

suspension system an I feel a better ride ... As Well no more cracking an popping when making sharp turns either going forward

or backing as was before .... As stated I also had them put on the MorRyde 18k pin box an take off the Rota Flex Pin Box from

LCI before I even pulled the trailer off the lot when it was brand new ...

As I stated in another post the 1st time I backed our trailer at the dealer around another trailer I heard a very loud cracking

noise from our trailer... I thought I had hit something it was so loud, I new I was way away from the other trailer but I got out

an looked an there was nothing there ... I walked into the service department an ask if they would see if my brand new trailer

which I had just bought an had yet to be moved off their lot had a cracked frame, I was told they all do that do to the length of

the trailer an the flex of the I beams ... I was told that in order to stop allot of such there needed to be more bracing added to

either the frame (plates welded to the fame above the suspension) or add cross bracing on the suspension such as the X-factory

from MorRyde such I have done ...

One other thing I did an didn't state it in my post is a wrapped a thick peace of foam around the sewer pipe coming down

from the toilet into the floor ... I did this so if something shifts or moves an gets against the sewer pipe it will not damage

the pipe or rub a hole in such ...

Please note I am not knocking Lippert (LCI) products with the statements above, I just wanted something a little better

an I believe MorRyde is a step above LCI, it sort of LCI being a Chevy an MorRyde being a Caddy, I chose to move up

to the Caddy in this case since we travel now thousands of miles a year ....

One more comment is if you have over two thousand miles on your 5th wheel check the suspension bushings to make

sure they are ok, while changing out ours they were shot after 10k, but I'm now wondering if they had been bad

for some time ... Nvguys bushing were shot after 1800 miles, so it might be a good idea to have them checked, I'm

not saying everyone's are bad, but it's starting to look like maybe they might have had a bad run on bushings an some are

but not all are weaker than others ....
