Has anyone had a problem with the roller shades in your camper? I am on my second one that will not retract. The first one was replaced with no problem.

I have the slow rise day and night roller shades in my Durango Gold. The bedroom shade quit going up after the first use. I just lived with it until the rally in August, and KZ replaced it under warranty while I was there. So far, there have been no problems with the new one.

I have them in my gold. My problem was that the bedroom shade and valence fell off. Behind it I did find a whole mess of holes like the installers were drilling pilot holes to find a mounting. I was at the factory, they didn't have one in stock (huh?). So they got one in and sent it to a local KZ dealer (not my selling) who was to install it. Problem - he said the one that fell was in better condition than the new one.
The slow rise are nice, except on 2 they started to rise and lower crooked. No one seems to know how to fix that.

On the rising and lowering a bit crooked, I hold onto mine with 2 hands while they go up and it seems to help them be straighter. Is that the proper way... Probably not, but it seems to make them be straighter.

Yeah, we have an on and off problem with the large one at the dining table. The day shade won’t stay down, but if I wind up the roller (really hard to get your finger on) I can get it to work for awhile. Also, the pull bar at the bottom has fallen off of the day shade beside one of the bedroom windows - so a couple of warranty issues.

We have one roller shade that is a problem which is next to our dinning room table window, night shade works great but the day shade rolls up to the point you have to dig it out because it rolls up to tight an is at the very top of the roller, real pain to get down ... Keep telling DW not to let it roll up by it's self so I don't have to dig it out again but she's not listening Ugh !!!

We are going to the MCD factory in Dallas to have their day/night slow roll up shades installed in our rig. They have a good reputation, but nothing is perfect. I’ll report if we have any issues.
