When I retract my two hydraulic slide-outs on my Durango Gold, the slide-out on the passenger side stops moving in. I let it rest a few seconds and then depress the switch and the slide starts moving in for a bit and then stops again. I let it rest a few seconds and then depress the switch and the slide-out finishes closing. This has occurred twice consecutively. There is no problem when the slides are extended out. Any suggestions on what could be the problem? Low fluid?, air?

Is the fluid level full? What happens if you just hold the switch? Mine will switch which side moves first and I was told it will move the easiest first. That made sense and they always both retract.

Are you on shore power or relying on the battery to put the slides in? If you are relying on the battery, is it fully charged?

Like RVdude and Edd said - fluid and power. I always plug in before I unhitch and before I hitch up.
On another note, both of my BR slides had pinched and shorted wires, acting the same as yours. One occurred when we were in Las Vegas, and shortly after we got home to NJ the other one started. It takes a decent tech to figure it out.
After the shorts were found it was just getting access for a 10 minute fix to reroute and repair.

Like others check your fluid hydraulic level, make sure that the small adjustment knobs that shut off the hydraulic fluid to your slides are fully open, if on battery power plug into shore power an see if it happens as well ...
Sometimes while depressing the icon on the panel my finger will slip to one side or another, thus the action I wanting the function to do will stop, so make sure that your finger is fully on the ICON on your panel ...
As well try different panels, we have have two panels on our G384RLT, one in the storage compartment an one in the trailer on the pantry wall as well as an APP on our phone ... If you have such they try using a different panel or the APP an see if you get the same thing happening ...
These are only suggestions that I can think of at the moment, if you can't find the problem I would either call LCI help desk since your slides are LCI or call your dealer an make an appointment to have it looked at
Safe travels an let us know what you find so other can benefit from such

I had a similar issue in my DG 382MBQ, and found out that my battery disconnect was not completely on. What I thought was on the switch had more to turn and I have since marked the correct position. I was told the hydraulics run off the battery and needs to be completely charged and on in order for it all to work correctly. I would also keep a stash of blade fuses around, because these things seem to happen on holiday weekends!

My hydraulic fluid level was at the correct level. Took the unit to my dealer and they said the problem was with the battery. My DG 359RET came with one battery and they recommended to replace the one battery with 2 new batteries. They also found a faulty 50 amp circuit breaker that the battery cable fed into. With the 2 batteries my inverter works better (Does not over heat when towing); however, the slide outs occasionally still hesitate as I described above. Air in the hydraulic fluid?

What Chuck said, and, sometimes you need to push the " - " more than once to start retraction.

I have noticed with the touch panel at times you have to wait a second or two for it to actually connect. The picture may be there with the icon for movement, but if you are too fast (exceeding the speeds of the electrons ) it won't move. I have experienced this first hand, after the battery disconnect issue. Good luck! Bobcat

Also if slides or hydraulic stabilizer jacks are shuttering then you need to take a quart of fluid from the reservoir an replace
a quart of fluid recommended by Lippert (LCI) to cure this problem ...
There was a post a while back on replacement oil for such but I am unable to find it right now Ugh
Safe travels

Didn't look for the original post, but here is a snap shot from the Lippert site. I couldn't get the complete document to load, so there aren't any images to accompany the figs. Link to Lippert site & document linkADDING ANTI-STICTION FLUID TO HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS TI-191 HYDRAULICS Introduction: If there is a popping noise in a Lippert Leveling system, Lippert has approved adding a quart of anti-stiction fluid. Approved fluids are listed by brand name and fluid characteristics below: • Torco RFF Grade 15 (Fig. 1) • Maxima Fork Oil Grade 15 (Fig. 2) • Caterpillar Hydraulic Oil Additive 1U-9891 (Fig. 3) For maximum results in the shortest amount of time, please follow the preparation and procedure exactly as written below. Failure to follow the preparation and procedure may result in delayed resolution of the audible disturbance. Preparation: 1. Obtain a clean container (large enough to hold a quart of fluid). 2. Obtain a fluid extraction device (siphon, turkey baster, etc.). 3. Fully retract all hydraulic cylinders and jacks. Process: 1. Using the fluid extraction device, remove one quart of fluid from the power unit reservoir. 2. Add 1/2 quart of the specified fluid. 3. Extend all hydraulic cylinders and jacks fully. 4. Add the remaining amount of the specified fluid. 5. Fully retract all hydraulic cylinders and jacks. 6. Run the Auto-Level feature on the Level-Up® system per the instructions found in the Owner's Manual. Note: If the noise persists, the addition of a second quart may be necessary. Follow steps 1 through 6. Attachments:Stiction.pdf (196.99 KB)

I have experienced this first hand, after the battery disconnect issue. Good luck! Bobcat I have noticed that with my touch panel sometimes it will not move the slides or awnings (when they work). You have to find the right spot on the touch pad to make things work. Even though I know that, it creates a real uh-oh moment sometimes making you think that the slide is not going to go in.

Can't hurt, especially since this is approved by Lippert .
