Anyone have a problem with the awning not retracting? We have a brand new connect with an electric awning that won't retract. It makes noise like it wants to work, but it won't budge. Also the led lites under the awning are dim and flashing... we had it plugged into shore power, but nothing.

At the top of one of the awning poles, you should see a cover that you can remove. Underneath the cover is a bolt head that you can use to put the awning back in. A cordless drill with a socket adapter is the easiest way to get it done.
Other than that, suggest a dealer look at it.

If it's one of the new Solera automatic awnings (meaning it automatically closes in windy conditions, etc), they have been problematic and have at least one recall out there. If you have one of those, I would check with the dealer to see if it's on the recall list. Other than that, as Johnr stated, try closing it manually and see if it will open/close after doing that.
