We have a new 2019 380FLF which has a large fold down rack on back that looks like it would probably support 200 lbs +. Does anyone know if you can mount a bike rack in the vertical steel tube in middle of rack at back. If so, any suggestions on brand of bike rack? Thanks Ron

I have seen it done with the bikes more or less sitting on the rack itself, while the actual "bike"rack just kept the bikes upright and separated. What I did was weld two crossmembers on the rack. I then clamp two Yakima bike racks to the crossmembers www.yakima.com/frontloader.

Go to the camping world website. Look up bike racks. The Stromberg Ultra Bike Rack is perfect for two bikes. It bolts right to the grate on the carrier. I have a D336RET and have been attaching bikes to it for a year. Driven over lots of rough roads with no problems. Easy to attach to the grate. They provide a strap but I use one ratchet strap and your all set. I attach their strap to the upright bar that’s on the carrier. The carrier is good for 400 pounds.

Thanks Ron Ron, I bet there's a sticker (there's =supposed= to be) on the rack, that states that the load limit is 200 lbs. Mine has/had one. I'd like to know if that's a CYA number or a realistic number, with a bit of margin built in. I know the cheapie ones at Harbor Freight are good for 300 lbs and are nowhere near as robust as these are. Also, mine has a vertical post that goes in the 1" vertical receiver. Not exactly sure what it's for, but I'd assume that you could bungie at least one bike down to the rack and use the post to secure the top. Lyle

I'm sure the Stromberg Ultra Bike Rack or any of the bile racks from Camping world would fit in the vertical receiver on the rake ... At the Kz rally Edd505 had a small generator an his Dish Satellite on the rack so I'm sure a couple of bikes would not be a problem ... Safe Travels Chuck
