We have a Durango 1500 286bhd. It came with the rails already installed but not the topper. Does anyone know if I can use the existing rails with any brand of topper. I can't find a name on the rails.

The rails are a "standard" size, any slide topper will work. Slide toppers are on my to-do list as well.

I had a Carefree of Colorado slide topper and it failed, was replace with a Lippert (don't know what they brand it as), but they used the same rail.

Our Carefree of Colorado slide topper and failed, it is being replaced with a Lippert as well  The Carefree pulled the screws clean out of front of the main drivers side slide, bent the roller so bad we had to remove it ... New one on the way along with repair to the top side of the slide where the screws pulled out, thank you Mark an Eric at Kz .... Slide repair an new topper installed will be done by local RV only 8 miles away not my selling dealer 58 miles away, again thanks to Mark an Eric !!!!!!!!! Safe Travels Chuck |
