We had our 26ft Sportsmen Showstopper TT For 3 years. We enjoyed it and it served us well.
However we wanted to upgrade.
This was complicated by our tow vehicle. Our 2016 GMC Yukon XL SLT was rated to tow 8,000 lbs.Our Showstopper had a GVWR OF 6,000 lbs so we couldn’t get a much larger trailer. We liked the Durango line of 5th wheels but that would mean we would then also have to by a tow vehicle capable of towing it.
Last week we stopped by a local RV store to see what they had in the KZ line. Well, they had nothing.
But, they had this good looking Class C sitting there. It was a 2018 model, had only 1063 miles on it and it was priced to sell.
we decide to test drive it and, well, after a day of serious thought, we traded in the Showstopper and bought the Class C.
While we were never able to make it to a KZ rally, we gained a lot just by being members of this forum. We will miss that. But we also hope to be able to enjoy our new rig as well.
So, farewell all and keep the rubber on the road and the shiny side up.
