The cables attached to the booster are 3 cables - 1 grey with black tape, 1 grey no tape, 1 white. There are 2 power wires - white which is ground, white/red for power.
My problem is what cable is for the roof top King Jack antenna and which is for cable. I know its one of the 2 grey's, just don't know.
I hope someone can help. I'm really frustrated with this tv wiring b.s. from kz

Thanks Ed. I have that. But, except for the roof top dish, all the cables they show are grey. That's the problem. Who would have thought to use different colors or markings? That's the problem. It's like wiring the dash in your car with all black wire! |

You can simply disconnect all the coax ends, then short one end at a time till you find the shorted one using a test light or VOM. Also, you could purchase one of these: link |

Not sure what your issue is but I know of 2 King antenna replaced because the small wire in the antenna base was bad.

Thanks Edd505. I'm going to get me one of those. I don't know what the problem is. Maybe a short. I'm on my 2nd booster. Once I get the wires right, assuming they might be wrong, then I'll start on that.

Update- I determined the cables are okay, and properly connected.
I talked to King and they want me to get on the roof and check a wire.
Just got to find a nice dry day. Been raining here for the last week.
