As you know by reading I am a loyal fan of Kz, we have just spent 7 days at the Kz rally an another 5 days a mile away from the factory were
we had another 2 days at the factory having some things looked at ...
I have also had dealings with items needing to be shipped to my dealer to be placed on my trailer not do to the fault of the trailer MFG but
myself ... I ordered a ladder for the back of our trailer, it took three weeks to get such, why, the dealer ordered the ladder from Kz, Kz then
ordered the ladder from the people had made such, ladder was delivered to Kz who in turn shipped it to my dealer ...
This is the new age were MFG's for the most part do not keep stock on hand but only order for what is being built at the time ... As you might
read I made a comment about our recliners to Eric the Kz repair supervisor at the plant, he stated that they had to order such an it may take
up to three or four weeks to get such from the MFG of the recliners an then they would ship it to whom ever I want to install such ...
I'm not saying your dealer is putting you on but calling an dealing with Kz now for over the past year an half they have been very responsive
to my calls an face to face an have went out of their way to help me an others that I know ... You can ask anyone who have met the Kz management
they are committed to customer service 150 percent ...
I can not say that about some dealers including my own who we bought from, when I broke our back ladder I ask if I could pick up the ladder
at the Kz factory when I was back there, our dealer said no, it had to be shipped to them, so I did an it cost me $300 in shipping ...
During the rally our Great Dane broke out mirror to the walk in closet, talked to Kz Customer service an ask if I could buy one direct from them,
they stated no that I had to call my selling dealer an buy it from them ... I said that I was only 1 mile from the factory an my selling dealer
had told me before the object had to be sent to them an could not be picked up at the factory, Kz Customer service stated that was not true ...
Kz Customer service told me to have my selling dealer call them an they would set them straight ... So I called back bought the mirror from my
dealer an picked it up at the factory to be installed locally, my selling dealer stated they had never ever head of doing that LOL ...
Another thing that happened was that I had a bad propane hose, dealer said it was fixed an had been inspected for leaks, got trailer home
an hose was not changed an leak was still there an another empty propane tank, dealer said bring it back an they would fix what was
already fixed, another 120 mile round trip, I fixed it myself ....
So as you can see an read many dealers will tell you one thing an then do something else, I have no answer as to why Mark has not called
you back ... I will know spending two days at the factory he (Mark) was all over the place helping the Kz Techs with jobs an running paperwork
from building to building on his golf cart a high speed LOL ... He did take the time to point out what they were doing on my trailer an talk
to me about the Kz rally an improvements that could be made to their product an the rally for next year ...
Also while sitting there I saw LCI an other shippers trucks in an out all day dropping off parts, so if your parts need to built it may take
even longer that needed, As I said my recliners may take 6 to 8 weeks to get to my dealers once ordered from Kz do to the fact thay
have to se shipped to Kz an then to your dealer ... I believe like many others this could be streamlined by having the MFG of the product
shipped direct but this is the way Kz chooses to do their business for sum reason, possible to make sure what was ordered is what was
shipped to them, I don't know, I only know what was told to me an I saw
Is Kz prefect, not by a long shot, but neither am I lol, but if you read other Trailer MFG Kz may be far better to deal with than many of
the high end RV MFG or MFG's in the mid price range that Kz is in ...
