On our first stop home from the rally, we found the cornice and shades laying on our kitchen table. Sure wish this had happened on the way to the rally. It was not that hard of a fix. I discovered that the screws holding the cornice in place were only attached to the slide ceiling paneling, and not into the small ceiling joists in the top of the slide. They were also only 1 inch thick. I replaced them with 1 1/4 screws and made sure they hit the solid wood. Actually more stress thinking about it before actually doing the job. The roller shades were easy to pop back into place. Surely KZ has discovered this problem by now sense our rig was manufactured mid 2017.
The techs from KZ did an amazing job fixing all the other small issues on our 366 Gold at the rally. Can't wait for next year. Walter and Laurie did a great job.

Those Indiana roads must have vibrated the shade off. I tell you, the roads up here were terrible on the way to the rally. Glad you didn't have any other problems.

Shades?? I have wood blinds in all the windows and DW wants to change them to day/night shades. We also headed south and picked up US 30 west.

I've got the blinds, too and, while DW likes them, she'd not complain if we got the day/night =rollup= shades, but the $$$$... Ouch! I managed to break 2 slats on the tow home from the dealer because they didn't tell me that it wasn't a good idea to tow with the shades down and not have the recliners with their backs against the wall.

Lyle Before you know it you will have rebuilt that trailer of yours from you hiccups you have done if you keep going the way you are headed Ugh
We had the daytime/night time shades in our Coachmen Cappy an loved them, these newer shades are ok but as I said one came out of adjustment an now I have a heck of a time fishing it out an getting the daytime shade down, nighttime works great, daytime not so great ....
Am going to ask Kz about such when we return next week to have the front of the trailer looked at along with a few other very minor things I have questions about an have the SRE4000 system an wet bolt kit put on by MorRyde
Safe Travels

After getting the cornice properly attached, the roller shades and come loose from the brackets twice. I read on another forum that the two clips KZ installed will not hold the larger heavy roller shades. Ours are in the closet now. Who is a good contact person at KZ to talk to? I can take it back to the dealer but had rather fix it myself.
