Has anyone replaced the slide out seals on a Durango 2500? The sun has really disintegrated the seals. There are no KZ dealers in the area and may have to do it myself. Looked at some videos and this looks more complicated.

Consider a visit to the KZ service department in Shipshewana, IN. Make it a vacation trip. You won’t regret it.

Looked at some videos and this looks more complicated. Frankly, the seals are (or should be) pretty standard and any good RV tech =should= be able to do the job. Call around and get some quotes... Check out www.rvservicereviews.com to get some guidance for service in your area. Lyle

Check out Steele Rubber Products at steelerubber.com They specialize in slide seals and have some videos on how to install. I haven't replaced a seal and thought it was an impossible task to take on. After further research it looks like a pretty straight forward thing to do. Taking a RV in for service is such a hassle

If you get to Shipshewana, all are correct in recommending the trip. If you go, consider the RV Museum in Elkhart.
