I have a 2018 KZ 231 BHLE. This year after de-winterizing, I have experienced a low to no water pressure problem. I did not experience this during usage on my purchase year. I am only experiencing this on the hot water side. Whether I use city hook up or tank pump unit, I initially turn on the faucet from any fixture and within seconds the water pressure will start off low then stop completely. I know pump is ok because cold side is working. I have been winterizing RV's for years so I am fairly confident of my process for winterizing. I did notice on this application though that there is only one close valve for the heater on the hot side. I also did pull out the anode plug and left it out from the water heater before introducing the antifreeze. I left the plug out all winter. Has anyone experienced this problem and if so what did you do to correct it? I am going to try to back flush the heater.

First, try turning the winterizing valve a number of times to make sure it is in the correct position and to dislodge any debris in it. That valve should be on the cold water supply to the water heater. Your water heater has a check valve in the outlet (hot) side and it may be stuck.

Thank you, you are correct, there is a cold water valve but it is inverted from the hot water side and that is why I could not see it. I guess I'm not as prolific on the KZ pluming characteristics as I thought I was. I just turned on the cold water valve and my problem was solved. Foolish and red faced!
