Hello all!
Thanks for adding me to the forum. We just signed paperwork last night on a new Durango D286BHD and will take delivery in a few days.
We have been camping for a while, first tents for several years, then a high wall popup for a few years, then my in-laws old low profile fifth wheel for the last several years. We have two young kids and it has been getting more difficult and cramped in that old fifth wheel, and honestly it was getting a little tired too but everything worked perfectly still.
So last year we started planning, got a new truck capable of pulling anything in the range we were looking at (stepping up from a half ton), and now we just pulled the trigger on a new camper to go with it. We've tended to stick closer to West Michigan for our camping, but now I will feel totally comfortable in our setup to go longer distances, and for longer stays, so we will start branching out.
I look forward to sharing with everyone here as we start this new phase in our camping lives. I will likely have several mods to make, share, and ask questions about.
