Since day one of bringing camper home. Every time I open and close slides I get these black streaks from seals. Has any body else come across this issue? It is a real pain and eye sore to look at and clean. I only been having camper for 18 months to boot. sorry about photos can't get them to rotate, but y'all get the picture.

I have the same thing on my slides, I clean them off cleaning wax, then us a small amounts of baby powder on the seals. it
an the wax seems to work ok most of the time Also you might trying cleaning the slide seals you may want to try some diluted Clorox outdoor bleach to remove the stain's then when dry coat the seals with some baby powder which was stated by one of the members of this form ... Again I have used cleaning past wax an it cleaned the marks an then added powder an did the trick,
I'm sure either will work... Safe Travels an happy Gamping

Thanks so much for the imput. you would think one wouldn't have to do anything to seals. Every time I go camping I never see this happening to other camper models.

Does this happen on both sides? It appears that it is pushing hard against the fixed wall at that point. You might need to adjust the room over a bit, here is the manual for a Lippert if that is what you have. manualThe only rubber marks I have is the wipers making vertical lines where they ride when closed. I wax and use talcum powder, but the lines always return.

Yes I get these streaks on all of the slide outs. Front and back on all three slides. My dealer always comes back with , this is natural.

Mine do it also and I clean with a magic eraser and spry silicon the seals until they do it again.
