Can the top of slide outs support 200 pounds?
I'm going to say no, but, if they can, it sure would make life easier!

I wouldn't try it. Even if they do support 200 pounds, I don't think it would be good for them, as the roof is only supported on one side (the exterior).

As far as I know the slide roof can be walked on. I never tried it on the new Durango but I was on the old Montana slide roofs many times to clean/scrub them and to put new transition seal on them

I never tried it on the new Durango but I was on the old Montana slide roofs many times to clean/scrub them and to put new transition seal on them Well this New Vision is a 2003 so it's an old one, nice condition, but, I don't need water leaks, need to do the seals around the slide when they are out next, but, those outer seals for when they are in are in very, very bad shape. I just leave them out when I can.............................. Had a stroke in 02 and being off the ground even a foot freaks me out, so, usinga ladder to change them, isn't a good idea, but, if I can climb on the roof then the SO roof, I think I can do it...............

You might consider renting scaffolding.

You might call Kz an ask about walking on the slide, our main slide is held up in two places, at the bottom with two 4" x 4" slide rails an at the top a 1" runner an of course the top, so i see no reason it wouldn't hold 200 pds ... I washed my top with a long handled brush an didn't get on the top, but again at the kz factory I or someone may ask the question next week Safe Travels Chuck

Funny you ask. We are at the KZ rally and I watched the techs walk on them. He said you just need to watch for the supports.

Like Edd I watched as the Kz Techs walk on slide all week at the Kz Rally, as stated try to fine the supports to put your weight on while doing so Safe Travels Chuck

I stand corrected, I asked one of the KZ guys about this during the factory tour and he said no problem.
