When I am not plugged in to electricity I have no power anywhere in the camper. 1. I took battery out and had it checked and it is fully charged. 2. I checked the two 40 amp fuses. They look fine. 3. I cleaned all battery posts "again". 4. There "is not" a breaker switch outside on the battery wires.
What is my problem? HELP!

You will need to start at the battery and work towards the fuse panel checking with a voltmeter. A common problem is cheap battery switches if you have one, or the auto-resetting circuit breaker (sample) near the battery. Check where the battery is grounded to the frame, probably near the battery and again closer to the fuse panel. Tell us where you have power and where you don't. If you have no voltmeter, you can get a cheap one at Harbor Freight.

Someone in my little town must have a volt meter as we are 65 miles from the nearest Harbor Freight. There is a junction box attached to the trailer tongue. I opened it but did not see a switch. I saw only the battery cable wires attached to the wires that comes from the trailer. I did not pull the wires out, so do you think the switch is behind all the wires? What is a good price on a volt meter? We have other possible places to purchase about 15 miles away like Bomgaars Supply and a Do It Best Hardware.

Apparently you have no switch, they do not come standard on many trailers. Without a switch you need to pull a battery cable as soon as the trailer is not being used. There should be a circuit breaker like I showed in the previous post. Harbor Freight often has a coupon where you can get a voltmeter for free with any purchase. Even a cheap 12 volt test light can help you track down where the voltage is lost.

When you mention that you checked the 40 amp fuses...do you mean the relays? There should a inline relay/circuit breaker that fail occasionally. Should be near the battery somewhere and usually has a covering of sort....most of the time just electrical tape. It will be something like this in-line breaker

Is there a battery disconnect switch. Make sure it's on.

Thanks everyone. I think I will call KZ help line on Monday and ask where the disconnect switch or in-line circuit breaker is located. This way I don't have to go on a treasure hunt for them.

That is the same thing that I had in the very first reply. I just don't know what the difficulty is following a cable from the battery till you find such a thing.

Oops...didn't see the link. The link color blends almost perfectly into the background on my pc. As lynnmore mentioned though they are very easy to find. Mine was only 12" or so from the battery under a lot of electrical tape.
Let us know how it going.

I think this is the problem after testing with volt metor. I was getting 13 volts from the battery to this automatic reset breaker, but only 2 volts on the other side. the connections were rusted so bad so I cleaned them up, but still only got 2 volts on the camper side of the connection.

If you want to go the extra use some liquid electrical tape (home depot etc) on the whole breaker after you put the new one on, then use electrical tape to wrap it up. I have done that and it has been fine. For me it's a good piece of mind knowing it's waterproofed now.
