There is allot of difference between the 1500 series an the 2500 series 5th wheels an even more difference in
the Durango Gold 300 series
As RVdude stated there are many options in the 1500 series that are standard on the 2500 series an Gold 300 series ...
As far as I am thinking here is what I would get, again only what I like :
Ground-Stable Step called by LCI or called by MorRyde the "Step above step"
Rear Observation Camera
Exterior Battery Disconnect
50 AMP Service
Key-Alike Locks
LP Quick-Connect
All-Weather Insulation Package
4-Point Automatic Leveling System (includes MyRV multifunction touch panel)
Note:This should be standard in the 2500 series but when ordering make sure, also ask for both panels
inside the trailer, outside in the storage area an the one inside the battery compartment ...
Heating & Cooling System (Standard)
Note: You might ask for the second air conditioner if your DW is like mine an dozen't like real hot weather
The second air conditioners helps cool down the bedroom in the afternoon or after a day of traveling in
90 degree weather ... Even thought one air conditioner will cool the trailer pretty well the second one
really helps in over 90 degree weather ... During the day we run the main air conditioner an before we
go to bed we turn on the second to cool the bedroom down .. after that we only run the main one at night
which keeps the trailer pretty cool
Flip-Down Bike Rack IPO Hitch
Roto-Flex® Rubberized Pin Box should be standard but make sure by asking
Slide Toppers on all slides is a must, if you don't get any options at least get slide toppers, you will not regret it !!!!!!!!!
Inside
Upgraded Side-by-Side RV Refrigerator
18 CU FT 120V Residential Refrigerator & Inverter (N/A 318, 347)
Note: You can read allot on this form about this subject Ugh, some like the Residential, but most come with the RV frig
unless ordered ... We have the RV an like it, other have the Residential with an Ice maker an think the freezer keeps
things colder, we have not had that problem with the RV style frig ... BTW the Residential Refrigerator is cheap than
the RV but the RV is standard LOL
Power Vent Fan w/Remote Controls (kitchen, living room, bath, bedroom)
Note: Love ours but take note if you want to buy a vent over for these fantastic fans they are not the standard fan cover.
they are larger
Free Standing Table w/Leaf & 4 Chairs (should be Standard but make sure)
Wide View Fireplace
DVD Player
Central Vacuum System (A must, is standard in Gold Lines)
Single Bowl Sink in place of Double Bowl, Single sink is standard with Dishwasher (love the dishwasher now that the DW lets
me use it ) LOL
Convection Microwave (should be standard but ask)
Bathroom / Bedroom Options
72" x 80" King-Size Bed (limited space on 318) Love ours
Upgraded Mattress (Great a must have)
HD Flat Panel Bedroom TV w/Swing Arm Bracket (we sleep at night so have not had ours on since we bought our
G384RLT but some people like watching TV in Bed just not us .
..
As Stated up above we reall like our extra 13,500 BTU Ducted Bedroom AC
So as you can see we have most of the options in are G384RLT but they came standard, we did not get the dual pain
window because we didn't think we needed them as well as the full body paint which was 10k more at the time ...
Your selling dealer can call Kz or the Kz sales rep in your area an ask as well what is standard or extra on the 340FLT
you want to buy ...
Again these are only my suggustions an you can take them for what it's worth, it's you money not mine an i tend to
what all the bells an whistles that are avaible an add a few if I can
Safe Travels
