Just got a 2017 3911tk. Key switch worked the first time I used it. Second time I didn't hear the actuators. I finally found the manual releases, but still looking for the fuse location for the tailgate.

Sorry I can't help with your issue, Other than to advise the obvious suggestions of calling your dealer or contacting KZ.
The Zero gravity ramp door came out on the next model year from mine. When I saw it I wished I had waited a year. Then my ramp door failed. I tried to get the Zero gravity instead of the old type even offered to pay the difference. Limpert who makes the doors advised that it would not work as the entire rear wall framing is different.
I know from experience that the factory puts fuses in some strange places. Example there are in line blade fuse's behind the bulkhead panels in the storage bay. Also our bedroom slide control panel is behind one of the above mentioned panels. So if I have a converter, heater, water pump or bedroom slide issue. I have to remove everything from the storage bay. Remove the panels and the access the fuses or control panel.

I did contact the service dept of the dealer, He was not sure, but thought it had to be in the toy hauler part. I have checked in the storage area, fuse panel, rear inspection plates, still no fuse. Guess we'll try KZ. Thought someone else might have had the same problem. Thanks

By chance did you look up around the rear bumper area. Another thought does your rear bed lift have power how about your rear ramp lights. Mine has a fuse in the 12 volt side of the main fuse / circut breaker panel. Did you try it with the truck plugged in and the tail lights on. Like the back up camera only works with truck lights on. Or the ramp lights are not also back up lights.

I have a two year old (in January 2019) Venom 3911 and the garage ramp door broke on one of the length wise supports. Was unloading the golf cart and it broke which made getting the cart out and back in difficult. So called dealer and they called manufacturer for warranty replacement. All good so in shop now for repair along with a few other things since warranty will expire in January
