I'm doing new tires very soon, the manufacture date on the tires that came with the camper are oct/13... anyway, teh tires on there now are 235/80R/16 E rated.. does anyone know before I have to take the tire off the rim as to what the rim is rated for?
80psi or 110psi... i know you can out an 80psi tire on a 110psi rim but not vice versa,,,

They should be rated for 110psi but to be sure they should also be stamped on the rear of the rim for maximum psi.
If you are going to replace with G rated 110psi tires you will need metal valve stems rated for the higher pressure.
One other caution they probably exist but I have not seen them is the correct size G rated tire. Every G tire I have seen is 235/85R16 which makes it about 1" bigger in diameter.
While 1" is no big deal just check all of your clearances especially the distance between tires. You need a minimum of 3 inches, and also know that your trailer will be about 1/2 inch taller.

I changed out out tires to 235/85R16 G rated tires with 110ps without any problems an had lots of room between them an the trailer ... Of course we do not have a Gold Rush Nugget but a Durango 384RLT so there may be a difference in the space between each but with ours I could see little difference between the trailer from the 235/80R/16 E rated to the 235/85R16 G rated tires ... Good luck an make sure they measure twice an look at the rims to makes sure they can take the tire pressure needed ... Safe Travels Chuck

If you don't see it anywhere outside, you'll have to take a tire off. I was lucky with my old D-tired Komfort, in that it had optional Al rims, and all Komforts at that time (or so I was told) with Al rims had minimum 80 psi rims, so no issues when I jumped up to E's. We have a 2016 G370RLT which replaced the Nugget. I crawled under mine and the max psi is molded into one of the spokes of the wheels. Mine are rated for 110psi, so I'd venture a guess yours are too. BTW I just ordered new Sailun G's for mine. I've alraedy had one of the factory junk tires break the cords inside and I have another that looks like its doing the same thing. Best prices I found were from Simpletire.com. Ordered them just the other day, 15% discount and free shipping....
