Me and the wife just bought a Spree 196S. We are so excited as well as the two kids, well 1 kid the other is only 2years. We pick it up on Saturday. We have all ready been shopping for bedding and tools, just looking for some ideas on other needs as far as levelers, plumbing, whatever.

Keep searching through this Forum...lots of ideas. Best recommendation: buy the necessities and don't spend a ton of money on things that look neat....see if they are really necessary and what storage space you have left after a few trips. A lot of the people here have some great ideas and suggestions.
Have you seen the upcoming first ever KZ Rally info in October? Check it out....hope to see you there. Happy Camping.

Thanks bluegrass, I got the same advice from my parents. Mind you their needs in their 38' RV are greater than what I will need in our 196s. We will do weekends, they are gone for months at a time. Good for them, they have earned it

I too bought a 196s this year and I'm dying to get it out to one of our thousands of lakes here in Ontario. Apparantly the 196s only comes with two stabilizers (at the rear) and if you want the fronts, it's an "option". Mine came with them as an "upgrade" but you may want to make sure you have all four. I would never have looked for that - would have assumed that four would be standard. Mine also has two two steps in order to climb inside. I've seen them with only one and I assume that this would make things a challenge after a few fizzy drinks at the campfire. I know these are nothing major but they were things I was happy to see that the dealer had already installed before we even looked at it since I wouldn't have thought about it until after I had pulled away from the lot - or until I was setting up for the first time. On a side note, I love this 196s. My wife and I loved camping in tents until we hit our late 20's and lost our affection for granite and roots under our backs. Loved the pop up until my wife heard a bear outside of our camper for the first time. (she slept through all the other encounters) Now we've moved to this 196s and enjoy the true camping spirit by listening to our kids argue about who gets the top bunk and what music will be palying through the sound system during set up. Justin Beiber or Miley Cirrus? (sometimes the granite and roots sounds like a five star hotel)
