What kinds of stuff do you guys run down your drains?
I am assuming no food or grease or any kinds of solids. And then, can foods be sent to black water tank?

Only thing that goes down the Grey tank is dish water and shower water, that’s it! No food down the toilet into the black tank, just whatever is in the toilet, any food goes into the garbage and into the waste bin at the campground. I use deodorizer in my black tank and try to flush after every drain, in the Grey tank I use camco grey water deodorizer and so far it keeps the smell to a minimum.

Place grease and solids in the trash, I save disposable containers for that purpose. The black tank is for P, P and TP.

Thanks. That's what weve been doing. So the units with garbage disposals are basically useless?

I bet those tanks will get "ripe" in this hot weather. I have a rear kitchen and a separate gray tank for it. I use the liquid black tank chemical in it because they can get ripe like lynnmor said. Like the black tank I let it get full before dumping which is normally "honey the sinks not draining".

Even if you are "careful" with what goes down the sink(s), you would be surprised how funky grey tanks can be, so in a lot of cases some black tank chem is a good idea.
