Hi all,
Arrived in Corrales on June 1 and been looking at homes and finally found one that will work for us and has RV parking. Wow, what a journey. We have become very familiar with the RV as we have been living in it for a straight 30 days. All is working well, but have a question. A couple of days ago I noticed a little bit of settling of the right front leg. Not a lot, but may a couple of inches. So, my thought was to execute the auto-level function but I have a little hesitation. Will the auto-level function work properly after it has already been executed initially when we disconnected from the Tow Vehicle. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks Bob

There are people on here with a lot more knowledge and experience than me, but I do know that if you turn it on and press hitch height, let it do it's thing, then go back to auto level it will do the whole process over and tighten it up.

Yes you can and it might scare the cr-p out of you. The rear 4 stabilizers retract, the front will dip and then level itself. Not sure if you have set the zero point on the leveling system. Mine was always slightly nose down until I set the zero point. If you haven't and can't find the how to I'll dig in some files and see if I can find it.

I don't see why it =wouldn't= just re-level. My 4-point system has a display that shows how far off from level you are, so I'd imagine that if those numbers were out of whatever tolerance is programmed in, it would re-level if you told it to. Now, remember, this =is= a Lippert component we're talking about, sooooo... :-)

If you wish to retain the auto hitch you must first put it into auto hitch then auto level.

Hi all thanks much. My wife does not like doing extra laundry, so I think I will get the advice from lippert. Hey Edd505, I have never set a zero point, so knowing how would be helpful. I will post back here when I get the word from lippert. This leg lean is not critical by any stretch. I may even wait until we move into our home and bring the RV home. I will do the procedure then. At least I will know it works and not take the chance of causing an issue now because we are in it full time and nowhere else to go, just in case........................

I know this isn’t a “new” post but the instructions that Ed referenced ... step 1. Turn the on off button “on”. That may work, but I was taught to use the on off button to make sure the power is OFF. All other steps exactly the same. FWIW.
