New TT owner here - the black corrugated plastic which seals the underbelly on my 320VIK is not uniformly flat to the frame rails. It is warped or billowing up as though the wind caught it and pushed it upward. I noticed it recently and compared it to several other TT's. The others are all flat and look very nicely sealed. I'm guessing this could cause some problems with allowing water and dirt into the underbelly, etc.
Does anyone else have this 'problem' or is it normal? And, if it's a problem should I expect the dealer to fix it and make it look better? I'm taking it to Camping World in July for a couple other warranty fixes, so perhaps I should notify them of this issue also. Sorry if this is in another thread - I'm having trouble finding info on this specific issue here.
Thoughts?

Scott06 did you see this during your PDI, it sounds as if not, one good reason to look under a TT as well as on top, but this is water over the dam now ... Is the underbelly warped or billowing up or down around the sewer outlet, if so this is normal in most case's do to the sewer pipe coming down from the black water tank an thought the plastic which seals the underbelly an there should be some sort of gray or tan sealant around the pipe to the plastic underbelly, If not then I would have your selling dealer look at it an repair such ... Again if it's not around the sewer pipe then it should be somewhat flat, if the dealer (I believe you stated Camping World) has another model same as yours I would point such out an ask why is yours not the same as the other one of the same model or models an it needs to be addressed along with other repairs needed ... Make sure that when pointing this out that you are talking about the same model of TT or very, very close to your model, if you point to another model or brand of a TT they may say that "well that is normal for your model" or " there all like that" ...
After they state that repair is done, I would ask for a creeper an look at the underbelly along with other repairs done to make sure they are done to your satisfaction, do not take it's all ready for you, check an double check ....
Safe travels

Thanks for the information Chuck! It’s not a warping condition around the sewer pipe. It’s just generally warped throughout. Camping World has a couple newer models of my exact TT - That’s a great idea to compare mine to those. Either way, I’m going to demand they fix it so it’s perfectly flat. It sounds like that’s the condition it should be in.

I sent a post about two or three months ago about the same thing. I have a 2017 KZ 2500 336RET. Did some research and compared it to a 2018 and they all had that saggy underbelly in the same area. As long as it’s tight and there’s no fluid leaking from it you’re going to be fine. If you’re not satisfied call customer service and see if they’ll give you an answer. It’s covering something because if you push on it and there’s no movement up there has to be some kind of tank under there it’s covering.

I stand corrected you said it’s pushed up. Mine was sagging. Don’t know what the hell that could be unless something hit it from underneath. If you can just check another one of the same model and compare.

csp1116 You are correct, sagging is another story in it's self, sagging could be a tank or extra insulation or god forbid a water leak with wet insulation Ugh !!! I can't say it enough, look under your trailer during your PDI, it's just as important as looking on top Safe Travels Chuck

Just as an update on this, I took the unit to Camping World to have a few issues addressed; among them was the underbelly concern. Initially Venture told CW they wouldn't authorize any repairs to the underbelly material. They also didn't initially authorize repairing a slide actuator which was rubbing against the frame opening during operation. CW wasn't satisfied after my disappointment with the response and they made extra phone calls to "backdoor" the authorizations. In the end, CW repaired the actuator and the underbelly, and it's now... flatter? It's still not as tight as Private Gomer Pile's bedsheet, but it's better.
I also found both of my in-line vents were very loose and allowing grey tank air to bypass (solved my stinky camper problem) and I will be upgrading those with better 'spring style' vents. Finally, last week I traveled from Iowa to the Michigan International Speedway for the NASCAR race where we camped in the infield, among about 3000 sites... (totally reccommend this). On the way there I had my vents completely open with the Max-Air II vent covers installed. We drove through a terrible rain storm and not a drop in the camper! Although, I did find quite a bit of sawdust on the floor and in the tub. Can anyone say if this is a problem? This was our seventh outing this year, and the first time we've seen so much sawdust. I know it's there from manufacturing, just wondering if perhaps it's from the vents creating a vacuum situation.
Thanks!

First of all I am glad you got your trailer repaired an happy it meets your expectations an I am a firm believer in the Max-Air II vent covers , we have two on our 5th wheel one on the bathroom an the other over the fantastic fan in the kitchen ...
Knowing the management of Venture witch is part of Kz I have to say I think Camping World was pulling your leg to make themselves look good ...
If you ever get the chance to meet the management of Kz/Venture you will know why I have stated such, they are committed to owners ...
Safe Travels
