Our fresh water tank sensor is reading 2/3 full. Which wouldn't be an issue except for the fact we haven't even added water to it yet. Anyone else have this happen to them? Any idea of what would cause it? I thought perhaps I had 'accidentally' added water to the tank but hadn't.

First thing is to open the tank drain and have any water drain out. It is possible that debris got in the pump check valve and water slowly went in the tank. Did the gauge ever read empty?

I'll check that next weekend. I don't know how any debris could have gotten into it as it is a seasonal site and we had our camper delivered about a month ago. It hasn't been moved. Haven't put any water into the fresh water tank and yes, it was an empty reading until a week ago.

Tank sensors form the MFG have had a habit of not reading correctly now for many years, as lynnmor stated drain tank an see if it reads empty an go from there ... There are some after market sense's that claim they are far better but have never read or heard of anyone using such or seen any comments related to them ... Safe Travels Chuck

Or you've got a valve stuck in a partial position and it's slowly filling the fresh tank.

We'll check out if anything drains out of the tank this weekend when we return. I know I hadn't flipped the lever to fill it. I reported this issue to the dealer to add to the other things that are being repaired. We love the trailer but like all things, you have to shake out the issues. So far, the dealer has been great in fixing what we find.
