Hello This may seem like a stupid question but where is the switch to turn on the light over the outdoor entrance door??? (Porch)
I’ve tried them all and can’t seem to find the right one. The switch next to the door turns the light inside the trailer but not the outside one. I wonder if the light is even working. This is a new unit.
Thanks in advance

The switch is on the panel by the stairs. It is marked DS Flood. Mine does not work. There is a wiring issue with that switch and also the inside awning controls on mine. In my opinion... that is a strange place for it. It should be by the door... but that is because the people that design these trailers have probably never spent a night in one in their life.

I agree with rvdude. the switch should be next to the door or attached to the light switch next to the door which would make more sense... This do to the fact it turns on the inside light over the door so if the rest of the trailer is dark as well you have light on both sides of the door ... I do like the flood light over the door but as others have commented it lights up the trailer next to you unless you have you awning out on an angle ... But hey look at some of the other MFG's with flood lights on the front side of trailers that light up the night as well with nothing to detour the light from shining on the trailer in most case's next to you ... Safe Travels Chuck Took me a while to figure that one out, too, as it's not mentioned anywhere in the so-called manual. I did find the "bug light" switch, easily, which turns on the amber light over the door, but the DS Flood had me stumped for about an hour. JABD (Just Another "Brilliant" Design) Feature, like having no wall switches for =any= light in the bath area... Lyle

On my 2017 381REF the light over the door is dual function. The "DS Flood" switch turns on a bright white light ... the "Porch" switch turns on a yellowish outside light that is not supposed to attract bugs.

I guess the "dual" entry door lights cost too much to continue putting them on the new trailers. I only have the DS flood with the switch by the stairs...
