We have never used slide-out bars in our 5th wheels, even thought I know that some MFG use them in transportation to dealers when new ... We have never had a slide come out, but saying such I have read were it has happened, maybe but I believe you have a better chance now days of winning the Irish Sweepstakes than your slide coming or falling out while traveling ... I'm not saying it can't happen, Murphy's law states if it can happen, it will LOL, but if you keep a close eye in your mirrors an the side of your trailer along with traffic if it starts to happen you more than likely will see it long before there is any danger to your trailer or others around you while driving ... Again Just my 2 cents, safe travels Chuck

The slide mechanisms were made be several different companies and had different designs. You need to find out what you have. KZ might be able to help or maybe the frame manufacturer. What works for some might be a problem with your particular unit.

Yeah previous owner said he pulled it thousands of mile without a hitch, so, I'm going to keep on Trumpin! Like I said the left side you need to climb over the kitchen sink and counter to even put them in. ACTUALLY BOTH side need to do that.
